SpaceX launched its Falcon Heavy Rocket with 24 research satellites Tuesday.
It was the third flight of a Falcon Heavy Rocket, but it’s the first one that has been ordered up by the military.
It has been marked “the military’s first ride on a recycled rocket.”
Several minutes after liftoff, both side boosters managed to land back at Cape Canaveral, as they did after launching in April.
The new core booster did miss an ocean platform, which was to be expected as it’s seen as an especially difficult mission according to SpaceX.
