A reporter for the DailyDot Ana Valens has voiced her anger on Twitter about the inclusion of a transgender in Cyberpunk 2077.

Ana Valens finds the inclusion of a female character with a penis “offensive” and says that it “fetishizes” transgenders, and encourages the “cis gaze.”

A poster can be found in Cyberpunk 2077, which shows an advertisement for an energy drink.
It has the slogan “Mix it up” and depicts what seems to be a female character, with an erection.

Many found the poster funny, and even some in the transgender community encourage this, as it does help to get people familiar with the idea of transgenderism.
Some people like Ana Valens thinks it’s mocking the transgender community, and that it encourages a “cis gaze”, something that nobody at the Liberal Voice seems to understand.
I have asked my colleagues if they knew what “cis gaze” meant, and so far no one seemed to know.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that is set in a future where replacing body parts is as common as deciding if you want to wear shoes or sandals.
Because body modification is common practice in this game, it is unsurprising that transgenders would appear in the game.
From what the game shows us, it seems to be that the world finally accepted the fact that people are different, and it gives us a view of what it would look like if things like body modification were commonplace.

One transgender named Lilith Lovett was outraged at the comments made by DailyDot reporter Ana Valens, as Lilith feels like Ana is worsening the view people have on the transgender community by making her comments.
